🌍 STEM Discovery Campaign 2025 – Azerbaijan information meeting summary
On April 23rd, 2025, an inspiring online information session was held as part of the STEM Discovery Campaign 2025 (SDC25) to introduce Azerbaijani educators to the opportunities provided by the campaign and the Scientix network. The meeting witnessed the enthusiastic participation of over 70 active and committed teachers from across Azerbaijan, highlighting a growing national interest in STEM and STEAM education.
The main objective of the meeting was to:

Inform educators about the SDC25 campaign and its goals, including how to engage in international STEM initiatives;

Guide participants on how to submit their activities to the official SDC25 Activity Map;

Explain the award categories and application process for the SDC25 Awards;
-
Promote collaboration, innovation, and digital engagement among Azerbaijani STEM teachers.
A highlight guest of the session was the presentation by Semih Esendemir, a distinguished Scientix Ambassador from Turkey and SDC25 expert, who generously shared his professional insights, best practices, and personal experiences on leveraging the Scientix platform for teaching and collaboration. His talk provided participants with a practical understanding of how to:

Access Scientix cources, resources and project examples,

Engage in cross-border collaboration with fellow STEM educators,

Develop impactful and innovative STEM activities aligned with European educational goals.
The meeting was expertly organized and moderated by Aliya Ahmadova, Scientix Ambassador of Azerbaijan, who meticulously explained the award categories, submission procedures, evaluation criteria, and useful tips for successfully participating in the campaign.
